Hong Kong Talent in the Frame

Bigger and better than ever before! That was the overwhelming reaction to Art Central, a cornerstone event of Hong Kong Art Week. The seventh edition of the show occupied a significantly larger space in the HKCEC this year, and featured an expanded roster of 50-plus galleries; 20 appearing for the first time. Plus there was a record number of Hong Kong artists and exhibitors on the roster.

The event is recognised as a place of discovery, where seasoned collectors and new buyers can view cutting-edge works by emerging artists alongside museum-quality pieces from distinguished international artists. A key feature is the dynamic programme of events staged across the four days of the show.

This year’s activities saw strong representation from Hong Kong, with a multifaceted programme of gallery booths, public art projects, curated installations, talks and sharing sessions and more.
