HKCEC is proud to be named Muslim-friendly Convention & Exhibition Centre of the Year in the Halal in Travel Awards 2025, recognising state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to halal services. The awards, organised by CrescentRating, an internationally recognised halal travel promotion organisation based in Singapore, is a celebration of travel industry players’ efforts to make Halal travel a seamless experience. It underscores the global impact of destinations, service providers and marketing campaigns that have exhibited exceptional dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the Muslim travel market.

The HKCEC provides separate prayer rooms for male and female users on the 2nd floor of the venue, marked with directions of Qibla and equipped with prayer mats. Ablution facilities and water-friendly washrooms are available next to the prayer room. HML also caters for the dietary needs of Muslim visitors by providing Halal certified food at the concession stands during events, and HML’s food and beverage team can provide tailor-made Halal menus upon request. 

HML strives to enhance the overall experience of the global Muslim community. The award recognises HML’s efforts in support of Muslim-friendly business activities and tourism.
