Among the new candidates for AIPC Future Shapers – the convention centre industry’s accelerated leadership programme – is Mr Arthur Mok, HML’s Event Manager from the Catering and Event Management Department. HML is delighted that Arthur had been selected for this course, run by the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC).  

Arthur is one of just 13 new candidates accepted into the eight-month accelerated leadership course, which aims to propel the industry’s developing leaders to the next level in their careers. He will participate in a series of expert-led masterclasses, be involved in challenge ideation and business case development skills, and be part of a team presentation proposing solutions to challenges currently faced by convention centre managers.

Undertaking this course will help Arthur accelerate his leadership skills and ultimately help event organisers address the challenges and better support HML clients to deliver extraordinary events at the HKCEC.

AIPC Future Shapers acts as an interactive roadmap towards excellence in convention centre management, requiring intense commitment and engagement on behalf of the participants and in return the candidates not only speed up their leadership capabilities, but are also provided with the opportunity to help shape the future of the AIPC Community.
