Cancer is the number one burden and killer in many countries; Asia contributes around 50% of the world's cancer incidence. In many developed countries, over 50% of cancer cases require radiation therapy, and particle therapy is the most advanced form. As its technology advances, patient demand rises, and so does the need for specialised education and training for radiation oncology professionals.
