Collaborative Congress
Hong Kong has been chosen as the destination host for the latest edition of the World Cancer Congress, in recognition of its cutting-edge facilities and commitment to healthcare. The HKCEC will host the three-day event in late September.
Organised by the Union for International Cancer Control, the congress takes place every two years in a different city. The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society is collaborating on the event, which brings together professionals from different fields in the cancer control – researchers, clinicians, advocates, policymakers, and people with lived experience – from over 120 countries.
The aim of the 2026 congress is to advance cancer control, reducing the global burden through transformative efforts. This will be achieved through delegates working together, sharing knowledge and forging international partnerships. It enables them to learn collaboratively, be heard and create impact.
