Hong Kong FinTech Week and StartmeupHK Festival joined forces in November for a special 10th anniversary, creating a bigger, bolder platform for innovation, investment and growth. The largest edition to date, it featured more than 37,000 attendees, 800-plus speakers and over 700 exhibitors from more than 100 economies to share insights and explore the future of technology.

This year’s theme was “Curating the New Fintech Era”. From AI-driven finance to blockchain, green innovation to health tech, deals were done, ideas turned into reality and businesses took off. For startups, it offered a golden opportunity to pitch investors, meet mentors and make the right connections to scale.

The joint celebration underscored Hong Kong's commitment to the digital economy, leveraging its position as a leading international financial centre and thriving start-up hub. Involved in the event were various Hong Kong entities including the Treasury Bureau, Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, and InvestHK.
