ACGHK is the largest gathering of anime fans and gamers in Hong Kong – attracting devotees of animation, comics, video games, rare and limited edition collectibles and music. The 2026 show is set to be no exception, as it seeks to build on its expansion of exhibition space at the HKCEC, doubling from 19,890 sqm in 2024 to 34,872 sqm in 2025 and featuring nearly 800 booths.

Featuring at the event are internationally recognised brands and themed pavilions based on popular anime IPs, including immersive experiences using advanced technologies. Cosplay remains a major draw of ACGHK, featuring both a competition and a carnival. Hundreds of thousands of attendees, many of them young, flock to this convention to participate in cosplay and gaming competitions, see new art, as well as view and try upcoming releases in the field of animation, comic books and games. And the elaborate costumes worn by fans play a massive role in the fun.
