Levelling Up Mega-Events: HKCEC Powers the Debut of Hong Kong Comic Con 2026! (video only)
The past few months have been busy for our team, with a packed schedule of major events. I’m proud to say that HKCEC welcomed a diverse range of communities from across the globe, from art aficionados and anime enthusiasts to wine professionals.
Two of the HKCEC’s long-established flagships events, Art Basel Hong Kong and Vinexpo Asia Hong Kong, successfully concluded in May. Art Basel Hong Kong welcomed over 91,500 visitors in March for an immersive celebration where art, culture and gastronomy came together. Vinexpo Asia Hong Kong in May drew over 14,000 trade visitors, reinforcing our role as a hub for international exchange.
On top of the well-established shows, the debut of Hong Kong Comic Con’s in May further expanded the HKCEC’s cultural portfolio. It fits in with Hong Kong’s strategy to promote the Intellectual Property cultural industry, helping open new opportunities for local, Mainland and international creative products and designer toy brands. And coming up next month is Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2026, the annual must-visit for pop culture fans.
By leveraging pop culture, brands can remain relevant in today’s world, and the HKCEC with its prime location, world-class facilities and management is an ideal platform for showcasing the very best of global mass culture in Hong Kong.
Stay tuned for more on exciting, upcoming events at the HKCEC!
Yours sincerely,
