The eighth edition of Global Exhibitions Day took place on 7 June under the theme of “We run the meeting places and marketplaces for everyone”. It was a wonderful way to raise awareness of the outstanding contribution the industry makes to a country or region’s prosperity, including Hong Kong.
HML, not surprisingly, stood strong with GED 2023. As a key player in the industry, HML’s role is to provide a platform for event organisers to showcase their products and services, develop contacts and business, promote their brand and enhance their reputation. Trade shows have developed into marketplaces amplified by educational opportunities, innovation, and data-driven lead-generation opportunities, supported by social networking activities that unite digital progress with interpersonal connections – plenty to get excited about for the future.
GED is organised by UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry, which brings together trade show organisers, venue owners and operators, service providers, and national and international industry associations, for the mutual benefit of all.
