After a four-year break, Hong Kong China Tattoo Exhibition returned to HKCEC for its seventh edition. Over 160 artists from around the world, including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, Spain and UK, exhibited their work and techniques. It was a great opportunity to catch up with acquaintances after so long, make new contacts, and exchange ideas about skin inking designs and business.

The much-anticipated Tattoo Competition provided a particularly eye-catching showcase for the best of contemporary skin art and put the talents of individual artists on display. Visitors were able to learn more about the techniques involved as well as different styles.

The Off Skin art exhibition, curated by Hong Kong’s Young Soy Gallery, featured works by 10 local artists created on a variety of mediums including canvas, acrylic, paper and ceramics, expressing the infinite possibilities of tattoo art beyond the human body.
