Sustainability Star!


HML‘s service excellence and sustainability achievements have been recognised in recent awards, a powerful affirmation of professionalism and commitment on sustainability. 

Awards highlights:

2023 UFI Operations & Services Award by UFI, the exhibition industry’s global association. This is a strong endorsement of HML’s commitment to sustainability and its achievements of reducing carbon emissions. HML started its decarbonisation journey with the goal of being a leader in the greening of the event industry. Action includes investing resources in upgrading facilities to reduce energy consumption and cultivating staff members in daily operations as well as facility planning.

Grand Award, 2023 Hong Kong Management Association Quality Award. This Quality Award recognises the management of HML as well as the team’s hard work and achievements over the years. It reaffirms HML’s vision of ensuring HKCEC is among the best exhibition and convention centres globally.

LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance 2009 Gold certification in 2023, administered by US Green Building Council. LEED certification is a globally recognised symbol of excellence in sustainability and it is backed by an entire industry of committed organisations and individuals that are paving the way for market transformation.
