Plenty of fun was had at the Jello Cake Workshop, co-organised by HML and Little Life Warrior Society in July. The society is one of our long-term CSR partners, and is currently the only registered childhood haematology and cancer mutual-support organisation in Hong Kong. A group of 20 Little Life Warriors and their care takers were welcomed to Congress Plus for a stress-relieving experience, while also improving their social and communication skills, with the help of the HML’s pastry chefs and 26 volunteers.
It was wonderful to see everyone enjoyed the workshop: the kids and their families looked to be having a lot of fun. Little Life Warrior Society, established in 2002, aims to promote and improve the services and benefits of childhood cancer patients, child patients who have received bone marrow transplants and those with severe blood diseases.
