Keen to make your event more sustainable but not sure the best steps to take? Committing to the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge in 2021, HML is making plans to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2050. To accomplish this it is necessary to work hand-in-hand with event organisers, who play a pivotal role in running green events and reducing carbon footprints.
Whenever HML issues a rental proposal to a potential client, even if they have not signed a contract, our Marketing & Sales Department will send an electronic green flyer for the client’s reference. The flyer includes advice on green menu selection, food donation, food waste reduction and management, energy saving and carbon reduction, and more. This is a great example of joining hands and working together to stage green and sustainable events at the HKCEC.
