Sparkling Comeback

The twin jewellery show was the first major exhibition to be staged in Hong Kong following the full resumption of international travel, and was enthusiastically received by exhibitors and visitors. As well as the 39th edition of the International Jewellery Show, the event also encompassed the 9th Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show.

Taking place at the HKCEC over five days, the event attracted more than 60,000 buyers from 130 countries and regions, with particularly significant increases from Mainland China and the rest of Asia. In an on-site survey carried out by the organiser, 60% of exhibitors and buyers predicted business would return to pre-pandemic levels within one year.

As well as its main function as a trading platform, this event also offers participants the opportunity to assess the latest trends in the jewellery world.  White and yellow gold are set to be the most popular metals in 2023, while diamonds will be top gemstone.

The next Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will be held from 29 February - 4 March 2024 at the HKCEC.
