What an achievement! Asia’s leading food and hospitality tradeshow has now racked up its 36th year of showcasing food and beverages and hospitality equipment and technology to the region. Mid-May saw 1,200 international brands and 25,000-plus professional buyers gather for one-stop sourcing opportunities – all eager to renew connections from editions past.
Everything was here: bakery equipment and ingredients, specialist coffee and tea, organic food and drinks products, food-service equipment, hospitality interiors and hotel supplies, hospitality technology, meat, and wines, spirits and beer. It was non-stop action, with competitions, seminars and workshops taking place throughout the show period. Networking events including luncheons and cocktail parties helped to foster new and long-lasting partnerships and cement existing ones.
In recent years, HOFEX has placed increasing emphasis on sustainability, and this was strengthened further this year. It strives to make its events, including the HKCEC show, more responsible, by not only running them in an environmentally and socially responsible manner but also inspiring sustainable development in the industry as a whole.
